That’s a pretty staggering number if you think of it in smaller terms. That’s one in five women feel this way. Over 1300 women were interviewed for the study. What’s even more shocking is that nearly 60% of those women said that they would not even feel guilty for leaving their husband for a more attractive man. Women of Toronto see plastic surgery as a way out of their current marriage or at least they would use it as an out if given the opportunity. Whatever happened to the sanctity of marriage? Some of these women have even been in the same relationship for more than 10 years.

There are many outside issues that influence marriages making these ladies want to bail out of their relationships, but 20% is a very high number. You would figure that bad marriages would account for maybe 5% of these, but 20% is another story. These women are basically saying that they settled for a less attractive person than they wanted and if they were more attractive they could have done better. On an interesting note, about 25% of the women interviewed believe that their husband would leave them for a more attractive woman if given the opportunity.
