How Long Does Botulinum Injection Last?
BOTOX® takes 3-5 days to set in and maximal effect is achieved after a 10 day period. The effectiveness of BOTOX® remains in place for about 3-4 months. After this time, the BOTOX® treatment is no longer effective and the treated area goes back to the original state it was before the use of BOTOX®.
Is Botulinum Toxin Safe?
BOTOX® is a safe treatment when used by an experienced and trained physician or nurse. If used improperly, it may cause unwanted effects such as eyelid drooping. Always make sure your injector is properly trained. Prior to your BOTOX® injection, be sure to have been assessed by a physician.
Will I Be Bruised And Swollen?
BOTOX® injections are done using the finest needles. Most people leave the treatment without any marks that would suggest they had any injections.

WHAT IS BOTOX®?
Botulinum Toxin is protein that blocks nerve response for muscle activity, reducing muscle contracture. BOTOX remains localized at the site in which it was injected and does not spread.
How Often Do I Need To Get Botox®?
BOTOX® should not be injected more frequently than every two months to minimize the risk of antibody formation. BOTOX® lasts 3 months thus maintain continuous effect of your BOTOX® injection you should plan to re-inject BOTOX® toxin every 3 months. There is no harm in getting injections at longer intervals or discontinuing the use of BOTOX® at any time.
